The Importance of Making a Will
Many people
put off making a will for fear of tempting fate. But we find
that once clients have made their will their minds are set at
rest because they have left a clear set of wishes and
instructions about how they wish their estate to be
administered. This makes things very much easier for those left
behind.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE A WILL IF ANY OF THE
FOLLOWING APPLY:-
• You are married
• You have children
• Your marriage is in difficulty
• You are divorced
• You are re-marrying
• You have a disabled child
• A person named in your
existing will has died
• There has been or is likely to
be a change in your circumstances
• Your estate is likely to be
subject to Inheritance Tax at 40%.
(Currently, inheritance Tax
is chargeable on all estates exceeding £312,000.00. The value of
their house alone means many people are now in this bracket.)
